Topfield has
been a market leader in Digital TV for many years and is distributed
in New Zealand by Hook Technologies Ltd.
Building on their worldwide experience with both Digital Satellite
and Digital Terrestrial receivers, Topfield is producing a
digital terrestrial receiver designed to meet the required
standards of New Zealand Freeview. To achieve Freeview Approval
the digital terrestrial receiver needs to have Mheg-5 software
with specific design features for the New Zealand market.
At this point in time Topfield is unable to give us a firm
date for when these receivers will be available in New Zealand.
